How much water are we talking about? Does the boat have a hot water heater? On my 31 the hot water heater drains into the mid-bilge. Is it possible some water was trapped in the hot water heater and drained out while launching?

I think you are right on, Scurvy Dog. I wasn't thinking clear because it was my first launch, of this vessel. Once I manually engaged the pump, I noticed water running from the bulkhead in front of the port engine and I thought, Oh no!

Just remember this next year when you lay your boat up, that the bow needs to be raised a bit so that you can get all the water out. You dont want it freezing in there.

I agree. The boat was sitting level or slightly forward on the hard. Once dropped in the water flowed thru the weep hole into the engine bilge. Do you boat in fresh or salt water? You can taste it if it’s salt. But I would suspect it was left over from being on blocks. I had a 2700 and now a 3300 both sit bow heavy.
My 2700 had no access hatch in the cabin, so I cut out an 8” inspection port and installed an automatic bilge pump. This kept the entire bilge dry.
