RE: Raymarine Auto-pilot Failure - Fuzzdr - 08-21-2018 Hello All; Until I get around to swapping my electronics from Ray to Garmin, I would like to add a kill switch that would be wired into the AP course computer to the 2 'Sleep Mode' terminals there (SPX SmartPilot). There is no power supply added and does not interfere with the present Seattle Network. ie; I don't want to screw anything else up. ;-) The problem is; I cannot find my AP computer anywhere. I have a 1997 Tiara 4000 Express with the 2 stateroom layout. Can anyone out there in Tiara land help me find it? Any and all suggestions/assistance will be greatly appreciated. Fuzzdr RE: Raymarine Auto-pilot Failure - Sans Peur - 09-18-2018 I found mine under the helm. Mine tips back to allow access behind it, although you better have long arms to do it. I find it is easier to remove one of my Garmin displays and go through the hole to reach things. |
