2900 Open Washer Fluid Reservoir - Arabella Captain - 04-22-2015
Here's an easy one, before I go crawling all over the boat can someone direct me to the location of the wiper washer fluid reservoir on a 1993 2900 Open? My assumption is somewhere in the motor room toward the bow. Not much room there and it would be nice to know where I am headed.

Not sure if there is a separate water bottle for the washers on the 29 as the 31 Open and 38 Open get there water from the main internal fresh water tank.... The switch on the dash, marked "windshield washer", activates a solenoid in the engine room. On the 38 (& the 31) it's located on the forward starboard side of the engine room bulkhead.. M2C

My '94 29 works the way ReelMagic described. It's plumbed to the fresh water tank.
The solenoid is in the compartment behind and under the swing up backrest for the cabin table.

Believe the system works the same as the 31 & 38 Open's .... They use the boats fresh water system/pump to provide the pressure & water.....

I have a 42 Open with second stateroom. The pumps are located under floor just inside the doorway of that stateroom. There is small storage there also.
