I have a 89 33' Flybridge with a tuna tower, powered with 454 crusaders (Carb) I am looking to repower
with a set of 6.2 mercruiser (efi) anyone have any performance information on this set up?

No experience with those, however if you are repowering anyway have you considered going with small diesel motors? Of the 3 people that I know who have repowered their gas boats with new gas motors, all 3 wish they had just spent the money and gone with diesel due to the efficiency and reliability...

I am afraid the 6.2 would not have enough torque. I would go with the 8.1. Diesel would be nice but not cost effective.
