Any suggestions for good site to find reasonably priced replacement carpet for my 29 open?

Cockpit or Cabin?

I replaced the cabin carpet myself. I bought a good quality indoor/outdoor carpet.

I carefully removed the old carpet and used it as a template. I cut it and glued it back in. It was pretty easy with the exception of removing the stairs.

The only problem I had was after I was done, I found my carpet was wet. I traced this to a hole in the hull!!

When I removed the carpet from under the table, the top edge was screwed to the hull in several places. It looked like the screw holes were pre-drilled and one was through the hull. It was patched with gel-coat and when I removed the screw it popped the patch.

Luckily it was about 2" above the water line. A little thickend expoxy fixed the problem.

My 2900 Open has very little carpet in the cabin as it's mostly a teak floor, so I'm not sure if you mean cabin or cockpit carpet... But if you mean cockpit carpet let me say I just received new "sisal" (inorganic) upper cockpit carpet from Tiara that I ordered after seeing the new Coronet, and it looks pretty awesome. I didn't even use my cockpit carpet before as I am not a fan of carpeting in general, but this is a completely different thing in my opinion, it really adds a lot to the look of the boat, looks far better than any real carpet, and can even be hosed off for cleaning.
