I would do a search on the forum; this issue came up a few times. I believe Cpt. George had some good comments on it. If I recall a lot of people say it comes from the rub rail. There was a good suggestion regarding putting powder in the bilge to see where the water is running from. I get it in my mid bilge as well, but I believe my issue is from a leaky shower sump and a pump that can't keep with with the water from the sink/shower. RE: Water in Salon bildge - Uhehner - 06-30-2015 That's the best trick. Talc powder will show where it's coming from. It's trial and error. Capt. Thank You, I'll give it a try RE: Water in Salon bildge - Dakota773 - 07-06-2015 I also found that the sink drains or water feeds to either the head or galley sink may be leaky. Both these feed into the mid salon bilge. Not a lot of water but some. Good luck RE: Water in Salon bildge - Maxwell - 07-06-2015 Also check that the fittings on the fresh water tank are not cracked or loose... Do you notice it more after you fill fresh water etc? Is it worse when it rains etc? RE: Water in Salon bildge - justrollin - 07-06-2015 you may also want to check the ac line it could be broken and dripping into the bildge |
