3500 Open Trumpet Horn - bigblueh20 - 09-21-2015

Hello,
I have a 2004 3500 Open. I need to change the dual trumpet white epozy situated on my hardtop. Does anyone know the model for the replacement? The model I have has the two dishes with horn componenents laying flat on the topside. When I google AFI horns all of the similar like horns have components upright on the back of the two trumpets. These will not fit my fairing block...HELP please!!! Thanks, Jim

Btw, in doing some research it looks like a Fiamm horn...still not sure which model...

I own a 2003 38 open w/twin air horns on the hardtop as well... Mine are from FIAMM Technologies. Here's the web site:

After you Google FiAMM HORNS click on "images" and see if one matches up.

Sounds like you have a Fiamm Fultone II Twin Trumpets Horn.

While we are on the subject of air horns, my FIAMM horns are fine but I think my compressor is failing. The horns sound great if you blow through them with your mouth or a compressed air source. They just sound lame and weak when the boats compressor is used. The compressor seems to pulse instead of develop a solid burst of air. Is this normal or is it a sign of a bad compressor? Thanks.

Sounds like a compressor problem. Squirt some oil into the tube fitting and try it again. I had to do that once a season. Capt. George
