live baitwell - pbud - 11-28-2015
We are looking at a 2002 Tiara 3800 open. We would like to install a live baitwell tank but not on the swimstep and not in the center of the transom. Any suggestions or pics would be nice.

I purchased a round 35 gallon live well at West Marine, and put it in the port side cockpit corner when fishing. Using the raw water wash down for the the intake, and letting the overflow drain out the scupper, makes for a hassle free system that doesn't get in the way. And when you need to spray down the deck after landing a fish or spilling a beer, simply remove the hose from the tank, rinse off the deck, then reinstall it back on the tank. It has serviced me well for 14 years.
