Bluetooth on 36 Sovran Bose 3-2-1 - Outlaw - 12-29-2015 I am trying to install a bluetooth adapter on the Bose 3-2-1 system in a 2005 36 Sovran. I have located an adapter from Crutchfield that I think will work, however it requires a 110V feed. In checking behind the Bose unit, I do not see a 110V outlet, the wire(s) just disappear through the bulkhead. Does anyone know where the electrical source for the Bose unit is located? RE: Bluetooth on 36 Sovran Bose 3-2-1 - jhhall - 12-30-2015 I have a 2006 36 Sovran. There is a outlet directly behind the Bose unit on mine. What blue tooth are you looking at? RE: Bluetooth on 36 Sovran Bose 3-2-1 - Outlaw - 12-30-2015 John, I ordered it from Crutchfield $60.00. I will take another look but did not see an outlet. My unit sits on a shelf in the "pantry" , the closet just to the left of the companion way. Here is a link to their site RE: Bluetooth on 36 Sovran Bose 3-2-1 - jhhall - 12-30-2015 Thanks for the link. My unit sits in the same place. The outlet is directly behind the 321. Tiara could have made a change from 2005 to 2006. Mine was one of the last ones made. No outlet, so we had to remove the coffee maker and use the outlet behind that and fish the wire over to the Bose. Now all we have to do to use the bluetooth is flip the circuit breaker for the coffee maker. I wanted to add my Ipod, so I just reached behind and plugged in a 2 wire rca plug to mini plug and use the earphone plug for my ipod. There is another adaptor for the other apple pins as well. fwiw I think there is a 110 panel in the engine compartment right in the middle in the engine compartment, I believe you have to unscrew a panel. |
