ICOM VHF Radios - Uhehner - 01-04-2016 Another ICOM VHF radio failure. This time it's an older model and upon contacting ICOM the parts are "no longer available". I did find the part on eBay ( $3.50 with free shipping from China ), so much for ICOM technical support. I am still recommending Standard Horizon to my customers. Capt. Well I had another failure of a customers handheld Icom M34. But this time I sent it to Williams Communications in Tallahassee, FL and it came back within a week and with no charge. This is the second time I have used them and Tim is the guy I talked to. They even paid the return shipping. I could not be more pleased with the service but I still recommend Standard Horizon. Capt.
