1995 3100 Open - Sliding Cabin Door - Skinney01 - 11-10-2012
My sliding cabin door might be on its last leg.The door doesn't slide or glide very well and the rubber gasket around the plexy glass continues to fall out. What is the best way to fix this or is a total replacement my best bet? How complicated/difficult is the replacement? How expensive is the replacement? I would welcome any thoughts and/or advice.

Teak Isle supply's the trucks and tracks for the sliders . They recomend replacing both for longevity . cost me around 400 bucks I think ? was not too bad a job . Well worth it . They are in fla somewhere .

what about the gasket around the plexy glass? do I need to replace the whole door and can that be fixed as well?

Teak Isle makes doors and things so they may also be a gasket source . Tiara will also direct you through your repair .

Mine slides rough too. And leaks pretty badly when I spray the dash (I need a better way to clean the helm area). Would the gasket help?
