I had to turn off The (HELM C) switch on the main panel due to an alarm that went off. I need to know the use of this (HELM C) switch in order to find the problem. What does this switch pertain to? My boat is a 1999 31

Helm control , You may have a bildge alarm going off for a number of differnt reasons .If your boat is like mine that switch supplys power to the helm console . Check your battery level,fire boy ,water alarms co detector . Electric buggs are a hassel . I get by ok but I do alot of dc wire work . I am in the construction busniess and do most of all the truck and equipment maint. There are lots of systems on these boats ,thats for sure ! good luck .

Thats what the owners manual is for. I'll bet there is a DC circuit diagram in there. If you do not have the manual I'll bet Tiara can e-mail you one. My old 31 and present 36 have very well drawn diagrams. Capt. George
