Side window leaking at base - bpy - 06-08-2016
On my 2007 3200, I noticed water pooling up right by the helm seat on the INSIDE of the window where the window meets the fiberglass. (A spot I use a lot as an arm rest).
My boat stays inside when not in use but we had a heavy rain and there was water pooling there. It seems as though the old seal has weathered to the point of not working......but not sure where the water would be coming from or water to use to seal that back up.
Any similar experiences? Thanks....

My suggestion is to first try a garden hose on the suspect area. Then use some duct tape to cover the area. Repeat the garden hose test. Remove the tape, mask the area and use a flat putty knife to force in some clear silicone sealer. Capt. George

Only suggested amendment I would make is to use shrink wrap tape instead of duct tape. Duct tape reside is a total pain to get off fiberglass.

Same issue on my 3200 and drove me nuts. I finally figured it out - there is a small section of plastic cutout to allow the curtains to be installed approximately in line with the throttle controls near eye level. Water was running down the curtains and hitting this gap in the track and THEN creeping down the window and pooling where you mention.
I am attempting to fab a small plastic part to fill to hope and hope to resolve this way.

I'm having the issue with my 06 3200 and it seems to be coming in from the base of the port side window and pooling up in the gap between the glass and the fiberglass. I,ve never noticed anything running down the inside and have even tried the leaf blower and soapy water trick to no avail.
