Crusader xmission cooler - Russf - 07-23-2016
I have a 2005 Tiara 2900 with Crusader 6.0L engines. The transmission oil cooler for the starboard engine is mounted next to the hull and is extremely difficult to change or so it appears. I cannot even see it. Any suggestions on how to go about getting at the cooler and changing it.

I just did mine. You just have to lean over the engine and stretch to get to oil lines and two mounting bolts.

Deck Hand, When you remove the oil cooler, don't throw it away. Take it to a radiator shop and they can clean it out ( about $35.00), Cheap compared to $380.00 for a new one, even if you keep it for a spare.
