A/C Location Change - DavidB - 08-10-2016 My A/C guy is doing an interesting project on my 2007 43 Sovran. I am having cooling problems with 2 of my 5 A/C units. They are leaking freon and are at the end of their life cycle. The problem is that they are mounted on the bottom of a metal platform with 2 units on top of them. This arrangement saves space but makes any type of service very labor intensive having to remove the upper units to access the lower units. He is mounting a shelf to the right of the units and is going to place each unit on the shelf side by side for easy access. If anyone wants a look, I will have pictures in a few days. RE: A/C Location Change - TIARA44 - 08-11-2016 Please post pictures - Thanks! RE: A/C Location Change - DavidB - 08-24-2016 The picture shows 3 units mounted on a shelf and 2 units under the shelf. The installer did everything clean and neat. |
