Rocket Launchers - bell2132 - 12-02-2016

Looking into putting rocket launchers on the hardtop of our 38 open. Would like to put two, 3-rod launchers (one on port one on starboard)- like the attached photo. Does anybody know the best place to purchase?

Thanks!

I saw a 36 with custom rocket launchers built by someone in Maryland. Best part of his setup is that it's removable. Had 3 pieces screwed into the hardtop (starboard, middle and port) that the rocket launchers could be bolted to so the owner could use on fishing weekends but the rest of the season he removed them. Really nice. He said it was custom.

It might be easier and cheaper to place them where the factory would put them on a new boat. I think you can fit three per side and these are just your standard flush mount rod holders. Please see the attached picture. Otherwise you're looking at a custom job.[Image: d357c574841b3e759b0c5c41763ef543.jpg]

@williamwalter any update on the brand of rocket launchers? Want to do something in the next month or two before the season kicks off.

Hello, I got really busy at another display on Sunday at the Miami show. I didn't get a chance to ask the tiara guys about the rod holder angle. I've been thinking about this and here's what I have. I'm going to say that you want a 0 degree rod holder. The area we are talking about installing them has plenty of angle to it already. It stands to reason that the angle of the buttress should allow the rods to sit at a about a 35 to 45 degree angle from the hull.
