2002 35 Express Specs and Review - rwshevy - 04-02-2017 Seriously considering the 2002 Express with 8.1 Crusader engines. Performance review or any information on this model Tiara would be useful. Thank you in advance. RE: 2002 35 Express Specs and Review - jhhall - 04-03-2017 You can contact Tiara and they will email you one. I have them for a 35 open and 36 Sovran. If you want them message me and I can email them to you. RE: 2002 35 Express Specs and Review - rwshevy - 04-04-2017 Hello John and thank you for your reply. If you have them for the 35 open and 36 Sovran with the 8.1's I would like to see how they measure up. Most of our boating is done on the great lakes.. I think the 8.1's would be fine, but want to make sure that it wouldn't be underpowered. Thank you. RE: 2002 35 Express Specs and Review - ReelMagic - 04-04-2017 I owned a 1997 31 open w/7.4 crusaders (454 ci) and currently own a 38 Open w/450 hp Cummin's and helped my buddy when he was considering a 1998 35 Open w/502 ci Gas Crusader's. Our experience showed the 35 open to be under-powered w/these engines. Cruise was 19 knots @ 3500rpm.... Fuel consumption was around 38 GPH based on sellers input. Also looked into a 36 express (2007 it think) w/8.1's and again slower than expected. Not sure what you plan to do, short or long trips, but I would strongly consider diesels as the boat your looking at is heavy with a big beam... M2C |
