TV Not working on the antenna - jhhall - 07-08-2013
I installed new digital TVs on my 36 Sovran 2 years ago. They worked fine on the antenna and cable up until this weekend. When switching to antenna both on the TV and the A/B switch I do not get reception. Has anybody had a similar problem and found a solution. I am thinking I have either a bad A/B switch or antenna.

Do you get reception when plugged into cable, but not antenna? If this is the case, then I would bet your A/B switch is ok.
Do you know if you have a passive TV antenna or a powered antenna? Powered have boosters in them and usually have a light on the antenna when powered up (little red or green LED). My guess is your antenna is either bad, or you lost power if it is a powered antenna.

Thanks Chris. I t is a powered antenna. I will check it when I am on the boat this weekend
