Tiara 3100 Open throttle cable length? - REELSTORIES - 04-09-2017
Hey fellow 3100 owners. Getting a bit of a stiff port side cable on the throttle control. Can't afford downtime, it does work. And ruled out the mechanical site of it. Lubed it to buy some time. Any idea on the rough length of this cable?

Most cables have a part number printed on the outside of the jacket, usually close to each end. Typically the last 2-3 numbers are the length in feet or inches depending on cable type and manufacture. Either way if you can get the number and do an Internet search you will end up with the right length and cable end.

I emailed Tiara support, they are very helpful. Sent me the part numbers to my shift cables, they were pretty stiff. Easy to replace.

Very easy to get too, I was able to locate the one i needed. Thank you. They were able to tell me lengths but could not give me a specific cable needed for my year of a boat.
