Isinglass/Strataglass for 2005 3600 Open - glc203 - 04-12-2017

Looking to replace original isinglass and canvas (front strip, sides and 3 part rear). I'm getting quotes all over the place from low $3k to low $5k. Has anyone done this, and what was the cost?

I'm in Fairfield/Westchester area north of NYC if anyone has a good local reference.

I have a 3600 Open and just had a quote for just the aft curtain, $1500. I was told the entire enclosure would cost around $5500 to $6000. I had a similar boat and had a complete enclosure done and it cost $5000. This guy does top of the line work and usually cost more but worth it. Hope this helps.

Thank you. Looks like the folks in the $3s aren't playing with a full deck.

Also, is it possible to put a smiley face type opening for that piece between the windshield and hardtop? I'd like to open that area for ventilation easier.

If you have all of the window frames done and you are only replacing the glass...it is time to consider doing it yourself.

I was quoted 1000 for a backdrop glass window repair on my 3100.

This prompted me to buy a walking foot machine and buy a roll of glass.  I was able to lay each window down, double side tape new window glass to window...sew it in...then...carefully cut out the old glass.

This is the simplest canvas sewing one can do.  If you are make new windows frame and glass it is much more difficult.

I have saved thousands doing it my self.
If you want assistance please advise.
