Engine room camera - alfredo - 04-25-2017

I have a 39 Sovran and I am thinking of installing a camera in the engine room. What would be the likely place for a fire to start as I would like to monitor while underway?

My thought is anywhere you can have a good view of both engines.

I would be more concerned with water intrusion from a blown hose or failed packing/dripless.

2 cameras at the back of each engine would be my choice. also followed by a good fire detector/ extinguisher. (automatic) and high water alarm.
