the black rubber bumper that prevents the transom door from banging into the transom is gone, leaving just the hole. where can i find the replacement part and how was it attached (adhesive? screw?).

Pete, you can pickup any size rubber stop at either Home Depot or Lowes. I have replaced several.

I have only seen screw mounted stops.

I have changed them. Bought white ones at Lowes. Use a stainless pan head Phillips screw and an appropriate size flat washer to mount it. If the threads are stripped go one size up with the screw. Capt. George

thanks everyone! sounds like i'm back on track. one of my tachometers (VDO) needs replacing and i am being told that particular gauge is no longer made. Any idea what Tiara recommends that will work on my 2006 Open 2900? can't believe they stop making all this stuff!

Just to be clear, VDO stopped producing the gauges and not Tiara. Mostly likely there is a close match to what you have. Look on the VDO site OR egauges.com to determine the closest match. Without a p/n or better yet a photo, it will be hard for anyone to tell you what new model would be the closest match to your existing.
