Hi,

Just sold our Ranger 25 Tug. Looking for a faster boat with more range. Have decided we'd like a Tiara 3100 Open. Our price range would put us in an older gasoline driven boat.
My wife is worried about the safety of gas, I worry about the expense of gas engines. We've found a very clean 2000. Everyone tells us they are great boats! We'll keep the boat on our lift behind the house.

Tiaras are great boats and you will enjoy being an owner. I wouldn't worry too much about gas as tiara rigs their boats quite well. Just make sure you get a good survey, have a good fume detector system, test it regularly and follow normal precautions around volatile fuels. In terms of costs, I doubt you will find a diesel setup to be any cheaper than gas, all things considered.
