31' oPEN soundproofing/insulation replacement - rkaufman - 02-24-2018
I would appreciate any recommendations for materials (brand name if possible) to reinsulate the engine compartment of my 31' open. Existing material is starting to deteriorate. Is there any type of foil that could go over the existing material?

I used Soundown brand. Not sure you can apply over existing materials, probably need to get down to clean fiberglass or gelcoat.

I bought it right for Tiara back when I had my 33’. It had a thin layer of lead or what ever it was, beside the foam, and foil. It was great. Big difference.
