Upgrading IPS to Dynamic Positioning System - bwise - 05-07-2018
I have a 2006 Sovran 4300 with IPS 500 and joystick. I am interested in upgrading to the latest software and controller that would give me DPS capabilities. Has anyone here ever done that before? Thanks in advance!

Years ago, I had inquired about this on the 2008 39 Sovran (IPS500 B I believe) we had at the time. I was hoping that it was a software update with a little hardware etc... I was a little shocked when it was roughly $30K as it required replacing a large amount of the existing system... Needless to say, we did not move forward...
