Instrument panel replacement for new electronics - jholtco - 07-08-2018 Hi all - I’m refitting a 1993, 3100 open and planing for new electronics to replace the raymarine C120. I will have to replace the dash panel with a new piece. Looking for recommendations on materials that will match fairly closely or a company that makes replacement panels. Thanks for the help RE: Instrument panel replacement for new electronics - sbw1 - 07-09-2018 We have a 32 Open and replaced all of the electronics about three years ago. The yard used a heavy gauge aluminum sheet with the correct openings. It is powder coated in grey and the trim line and Tiara logo are silk screened on it to match the appearance of the panel from the factory. Tiara uses aluminum in addition to fiberglass on a lot of it models, so we did what the factory did when it built the boat. RE: Instrument panel replacement for new electronics - SeaJules - 07-28-2018 I have the same problem, 3100 open. I am hoping I can find an installer that can find such a replacement plate. If anyone has a link or specific supplier, please post. OP did you have any luck finding a replacement? We replaced our Raymarine E-series on our Sovran with Axioms. Given the size difference, our installer had these plates made to sit under the new ones...Black resin with smooth edges and slight texture on top...they almost completely go away under the Black Axioms. Rob Cook is a Raymarine installer in Benton Harbor, MI (rcms@triton.net). He did the work on the electronics and has a supplier for the custom plates (i think the cost was $125 or so for two?). Couldn't be happier with the result. He's a really good guy. Good luck![attachment=437] RE: Instrument panel replacement for new electronics - Travis - 08-03-2018 I replaced mine in my 1989 31 Open with new custom panels from Tecnografic inc. in Ft. Lauderdale. www.tecnografic.com It wasn't inexpensive but more than worth it. Ask for Sam, he will remember working with me.
