Canvas Cleaning - Matta0413 - 07-23-2018

I have a 2002 31 Open with the soft top. The top is white and is getting mold/mildew stains on it and I cannot get the stains out. I have tried just about everything except bleach and nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know it Tiara was using Sunbrella in 2002? I cannot find a tag anywhere.

I spray Starbrite mold and mildew remover and let it set. Removes everything and it looks like new.

I agree with the last reply. If it won't come off with mold and mildew remover then it's on there forever

My protocol is

1. Put top and cushion covers in swimming pool for 24 hours

2. Wash in cold water on delicate cycle (no bleach)

3. Air dry in direct sun

4. Reapply "303" protectant

5. Install and admire my clean as a whistle "Sunbrella"

6. Repeat every 6 months

There are lot's of ways to skin a cat, but our top has lasted over 7 years with only minor seam repairs.

I do the same as bluebikemike, except I never thought to put them in the pool first. I might need to try that....
