Number of batteries - Jpendejo - 09-01-2018 I have a 1998 3500 Express. It has a total of 12 batteries. We just replaced the battery charging system and based on the holes on the panel, it appears that it has been replaced 3 times. Our boat has a hydraulic system on the swim platform as well as a bow thruster. Does anyone else have this model with 12 batteries? Just seems like a lot of batteries. Our boat has the Cummins 450 Diamond series engines. RE: Number of batteries - reeltimebrad1 - 09-21-2018 Wow that's alot of batteries would seem like 2 for engines 2 for house 1 for platform and 1 for bow thruster and maybe 1 for a generator would be enough. Send a email to Tiara if you don't get any help here. RE: Number of batteries - TIARA44 - 09-21-2018 Hi, We have a 2005 Sovran 44', 6 batteries for the engine bank and 5 for the house bank. The boat would have left the factory with 6 house batteries if it had the inverter option. |
