Can anyone tell me the location of the lift points (sling hoist) for a 42 Open? Getting ready to haul and bottom paint, and want to be sure the yard places the lift slings properly. I expect they know their business, but I would like to know myself.

The owners manual for my Tiara shows exactly where they are. I made labels and fastened them under the gunwales on my boat. Not every hoist jockey knows what he is doing. I have had the slings under the shafts. Have Tiara e-mail you a copy of the manual if you do not have one. Capt. George

On my 4100, the points are marked out just below the rub rail. I thought most boats have those marks.

My 2002 38 Open has the lift points also on the hull under the rub rail.

As usual, the Tiara community is very helpful, I'll have to check along the rub rail for markings. The picture is very helpful too.

Ahem! Feeling a bit embarrassed. The Sling Point decals are there, just under the rub rail. As many times as I have washed and waxed over them, one would think I might have remembered that! Thanks all, for your constructive advice.
