Bow rise in 2900 Open vs 3100 Open - sbayrakeri - 09-14-2018 Post 1993 models, does tiara 2900 open rides bow higher than 3100 open ? In forums I have seen few remarks on this subject. Any experience on bow ride level of these two boats ? Currently I have an I/O, with trim tabs, leveling the boat is not an issue, however, in an inboard, not sure it is possible to bring down bow to level properly... RE: Bow rise in 2900 Open vs 3100 Open - ReelMagic - 09-14-2018 I owned a 1997 31 Open w/454 Crusaders.... With full fuel tanks I used a little bit of trim tabs but boat didn't have a big bow rise...Once on plane they could be removed completely.... After fuel burn off, approx 100 gal, didn't use any trim tabs when accelerating.... Now own a 2003 38 Open w/Cummins diesels and use 1/4 tabs underway and slightly more when accelerating with full fuel tanks (425 gal).. After fuell burn off of approx. 150 gal. can accelerate and cruise with 1/4 tabs..... M2C Bow rise in 2900 Open vs 3100 Open - bucksfanbg - 09-18-2018 There should be no problem getting the bow down. I have a 31 open and font need to use tabs. If in rough water I can bury the nose with the tabs to all for a smoother ride. Tiara built the boats to ride a little bow high as the tabs will bring the bow down to any level desired. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |
