Congratulations. I owned a 1997 31 Open for 10 years and traveled extensively in the north east even to Canada and Boston more than once. Boat always performed well and more than met our needs and expectations..... You made a great purchase.. I currently own a 2003 38 Open and it has performed extremely well as well.... Plan to continue our cruising for the foreseeable future.
