Wallcovering help! - Steed36 - 11-11-2013 I recovered the walls in my 33 Open with a high grade commercial vinyl wallcovering. I used the strongest wallpaper adhesive that I could find. It worked out fine on the thicker plywood walls, but on the thinner walls and ceiling in the head it all peeled away and curled. Does anyone have any suggestions for an adhesive that will hold up to moisture? Contact cement would be SO unforgiving. I am open to any other ideas/suggestions for updating the head. Steve Wallcovering help! - sawdustdad - 11-18-2013 3M spray adhesive? Wallcovering help! - Steed36 - 11-22-2013 Maybe - I was hoping for something that will give me a little setting time to get wrinkles and bubbles out. Wallcovering help! - Chris Burkard - 11-22-2013 When I recovered my panels in the head of my 27 Open, I recovered in vinyl as it is easier to clean than wall paper. I believe I used the 3M Spray. Wallcovering help! - Steed36 - 11-27-2013 OK, I think Ill give it a try. Thanks Steve |
