Transmission on 454 gas engines - bdestryr - 01-22-2019
I bought a 1991,3300 Tiara, with no engines, I understand that the original engines were gas 454s, was there a standard transmission?

I would suggest you call Tiara customer service. They are awesome about their record keeping and should be able to provide you the information you need. I have a 36 gasser, but I suspect the gear ration is different.

Hello, responding to bdestryr post about purchasing a 33 Tiara w/o motors.
I have a pair of 7.4l Captain Choice EFI motors
complete with transmissions (trolling valves) shafts and props. The motors gave 1800 hours on them, primarily spent troling around Southwestern Lake Michigan. They have been meticulously maintained and always fresh water.
Trannys in excellent condition as well.
Props are brand new with 2 seasons use.
