DC Panel Selector Switch for 3500 Open - Crmenzel - 02-02-2019 Looking for a replacement meter select switch for my DC panel (switches between house and engine). I have a 2000 3500 Open. Thanks! [attachment=494] RE: DC Panel Selector Switch for 3500 Open - Dave Young - 07-18-2019 I don't have a recommendation as to replacement switch, but I can tell you that since I installed a Balmar SG200 Battery Monitor in my DC panel on our 2004 3500 Open, I never use the rotary selector switch at all to check my battery voltage. The monitor tells me so much more than just voltage. By the way, that analog meter that's in the panel consumes a surprising amount of power if you leave the selector to either one of the choices rather than off. Check out the Balmar monitor. It's simple to install. I removed the lower right side rectangular plate from my panel and used a hole saw in a drill press to bore a 2-1/8" hole in it to mount the gauge to.
