I have a 1998 3100 open that has overhead storage compartments in the salon which when open are held open buy a spring that folds when clossed. Anyone know where I might buy these springs as mine are bent and dont work properly anymore. The springs measure 3/8 by 8 1/4 long eyelets on each end. :help:

This sounds like a standard hardware item. Try West Marine or e-bay "Stainless hatch springs". You could also Google it and then click on "images". Capt. George

Thanks the springs are steel Ive tried local hardware they had nothing, West Marine is next and then Ill try Home Depot. Thanks again just thought someone may have changed these out and new of a outlet that had them.
