3100 Wiring Diagrams - ttravers - 09-10-2019
I am the new owner of a 1998 3100 Open and am in need of a set of wiring diagrams. I have the original OM which has a print date of 1994, but there are no diagrams in the appendix section. Tiara customer support only has back to 1999 archived and the wiring method was changed at that point so they are not of any help. My particular wiring scheme has (4) battery switches under the step but no DC Panel located there. I also have a (1) start battery for each engine, a house bank and a genset battery. Just trying to find someone that might have the 1994 version of the OM with a set of diagrams. Any info would sure be a big help! Thanks!

Man! Someone, somewhere has to have a copy of these diagrams! I can't believe it's this hard to locate. Please let me know if you have any luck.

Have you checked with Tiara? They sent me the ones for my 1988 33' Open. The usually respond pretty quick.

I have. They only have back to 1999. They changed the entire wiring scheme in 1999 so unfortunately it is no help.
The Tiara customer service people are top shelf and are a ton of help. Shame they don't have these diagrams.

Odd they sent me 1989 not even a year ago. Do not know if they would help, but I could send them to you?

Yes! Dated 1994! I believe that is exactly what I need. It was missing from the appendix section of my manual.

I'm missing mine also for a 2001 open. Yours confirmed gray wires to the tach mpu but mine are numbered stbrd 7 and port 8 vs both 14. I lost port tach last week for some reason. I switch gray leads and it works. Who knows about the mpu and can help me diagnose?
