Sliding cabin door lock - HandsFree - 01-27-2020
I have a 1996 3700 open, when I bought the boat (used) there weren't any keys for the cabin door and I would like to lock the cabin door when we leave for extended periods of time. Any idea as to where I could get a new lock and how hard are they to replace. Would a locksmith be able to make a key for he existing lock?

I think they are a fairly standard key and they might be able to provide one for you or point you in the right direction.

My, I will assume yours as well, lock is made by Southco I think it is, documentation is at the boat. On the back of the lock, there is a 3 digit number, that is your key number. You can find these keys all over the internet.
If your looks like this anyway.
Here is the place I bought my keys years ago, but apparently they are still around.
