1996 454 Crusader Fuel pump pressure switch - seahagbrewing - 06-17-2020 Hi all, I have 96 31 open and had a motor suddenly quit while out on the high seas and forcing me to return to port on a single engine. I see in my Crusader manual there is a troublesome switch called the fuel pump pressure switch that cuts off power to the fuel pump when oil pressure is lost. I spent a couple of hours searching the high and low before coming to the conclusion that my Tiara does not have these fitted to my motors. During the search however I discovered the electrical tab on the oil pressure alarm had corroded completely off. I replaced it and the engine fired right up and runs perfectly now. I don’t see anywhere this new configuration is documented. Does anyone know if this is factory? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
