40 express Portlights - borcheb - 07-14-2020
Anyone know the model number of the portlights in the 40 express mid 90's. Looking to replace gaskets and possibly the lens. Thank you.

Correct, those look like GG Schmitt. Mine is a late 80's 3600 and the original part was GG Portlight #97002. I was able to order a new gasket last year. That portlight has been discontinued and its replacement us 90002C. But if you call GG Schmitt, they can get you what you need.

I have a 2000 year model and I mine came from G.R. Schmitt :
"Part number 666-018 screen kit for 97112 02 style"
That was copied directly from the label on the box were my screen and gaskets came a few years back, when I replace them.

I'm trying to find the same thing for a new-to-me 1998 4000 Express. Looks like the retail area of G.G. Schmitt's site isn't up. It says it will be up in 3-6 weeks. I did ring them up (use the FL number) and they took my name for some kind of waiting list. I hope everything sorts out with them because 3 out of 4 portlights on my boat are stuck to the gaskets and the screens are embarrassing.
