Help identify brackets under swim step - peakay - 08-12-2020
Hey there,
We have a 2700 open with a fiberglass swim step and need a boarding ladder added. Under the swim step I see these brackets and would really like to re-use them or at least the holes. the step already has a bunch of previously used and filled holes in it -- getting to be swiss cheese.
The longer bracket really looks like its for somethign that slides like a swimstep, however, they are spaced almost 15" apart and the ones I'm finding online are all more like 11"
Is this from a factory step I could find and replace? Any guesses? If not, how do you fill holes so they look good? Will have a full 8 to fill if I remove these brackets and drill new holes.

I would just add something like this.
If you can match up any of the holes, great. If not, just leave the bolts and bracket underneath where they are at. That will look better than trying to plug up and cover the existing holes.
