3500 galley sink - are you kidding? - Knothome - 08-23-2020
I’m investigating both the 3100 and 3500 open. How is it the 3100 has a better galley? (Smaller fridge). On some years the 3500 galley sink is a wonder (e.g., 2002). Owners - how do you deal with this? Never eat in? Use kiddie plates and cooking gear? I’m not being dismissive, just trying to add a bit of humor. We can work around lack of drawers, etc but without a decent sink cruising could be challenging. Have some of you replaced the countertop and reconfigured? Side comment - we’re coming from a boat with a trash compactor, where do you collect/store trash for longer non-marina hopping cruises? TIA, Gordon

i have a 1990 31 open. bait tanks hold lots of trash.
we cook and eat out of the cabin.
which boat did you finally get?
