Any suggestions on installing a low pressure fuel pump on the port engine on a 3100 Open? Really awkward location, needs 2 hands.

Sure...convert to Cam shaft driven water pump and get a USGS approved 12 volt fuel pump.
After year of battling my starboard mechanical water/fuel pump I have converted both 7.4L
Merc on my 3100
