2018 44 Fly - labelman68 - 10-24-2020 We just purchased a 44 Fly a month ago. Returned from our 2nd trip to Catalina and really love the boat. Handles exceptionally well. We love it so much we know we'll move up to the 53 Fly sooner rather than later. We're looking to do some modifications to this boat for the time being. Does anyone have any storage tips- the boat has ample storage but large, deep holes rather than drawers and compartments. Any advice on soundproofing to minimize the wave slap experienced in the V-berth while sleeping at anchor? 2018 44 Fly - Todaystheday - 10-28-2020 We just bought a 2018 53F, brought it 1500 miles south from Hyannis MA. We wanted straight shafts and Cat engines, could only find 1 in Hyannis. The power of these 1000 HP engines is over the top. It comes also with a joystick arrangement that gives the boater who needs it piece of mind. Been in 18 marinas down the east coast in the last 18 days. We ran through Long Island Sound in 5 footers at 22knots, not my most pleasurable day but this boat took every punch. Water hitting the enclosure on the Flybridge in 2” thick waves. In Marathon tonight. The 53 with Cats and straight shafts is an over the top power and ease of handling Yacht. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
