Installing RIB on the back of a 40 Express - August Rush - 01-26-2021 I am wondering if anyone with a 40 Express or similar (boats with 48" platform with open lazeretee) can comment on if when the RIB is loaded; does it interfere with the garage door opening and closing. Trying to decide where and how to mount the davits... Thanks! Did you ever install a system? I was thinking a RIB, around 500lbs, but I have similar concerns. I'm also worried about performance as my 4000 runs vest when the tabs are all the way down. She doesn't like the bow up at all. RE: Installing RIB on the back of a 40 Express - MC1600 - 07-02-2023 I used the DinghyRampXL which allows you to dangle the set-up far enough aft where you can easily walk by and open the laz. Only thing I can’t access is the swim ladder.
