Hi everyone.

I currently have a contract in on a 94 Tiara 4000 with sea trials and survey next week. Since I doubt the deal will fall off, I am now introducing myself.

We live in St. Augustine, FL and will keep the boat here at our house. Plans are to cruise Florida waters for awhile then over to Caribbean occasionally next year and possibly a Great Loop in a couple of years.

Would enjoy meeting/talking/cruising with other owners in the area.

Our boating experience is long and have owned many boats from 10' to 35' over the years but took a sabbatical from boating to do land yachting for the past 20 years and now getting back on the water.

I have your boat with cummins 8.3's. I really like the boat. Good luck with the trials ! I am on my 4th season with my boat .

I've lived with mine (cummins 450's) for 20yrs. now. I'm in so. fl so don't know any craftsmen in your area. I came down from a 53Hatt. convertible so I have some knowledge of build quality and Tiara is right up there.
I would improve upon the limited ability to open up the front windows and yes, I have the A/c up front but the insulation provided by eisenglass is limited .Also, the power cords plugging into the very back area is problamatic in that salt water gets in and I'm replacing components regularly.
Any questions, I'm here regularly

When the need arises the Commachee Cove Yard does great work; Scott Remley is wonderful at routine maintenance, boat cleaning, etc.

Ancient, we have our sovran 39 T the St A city dock frequently. Stop by to say hello one of these days. Congrats on the boat.

Thanks for the referral Jim.

bhbrownell, let me know when you are going to be there and we'll come down to meet you. Should you decide to cruise the St. Johns River, we are about 40miles south on the river with room for more at my dock or anchor in the cove.
