Blinking red light on Joystick - gdynkowski - 04-17-2021
Hi
Not sure if this is normal, but I have the original 2 button joystick with button A (docking) and button B (boost). When I press button A the red light above is in blinking mode. I would assume it should be solid. I have the EVC-B2 control panel (3807313) the one with the key, top row with 2 D buttons bottom row with contrast button an N button. Not sure how all these systems work together.
Problems of new owner of a larger boat without experience on a boat with this level of complexity.
Any help greatly appreciated.

That sounds right, I believe ours (similar vintage, 2007 IPS) is blinking when in Joystick mode as well. As soon as you engage the throttle controls, it will automatically come out of joystick mode and you EVC panel and the joystick indicator light will stop blinking. EVC lights go solid, joystick light goes off.
