How open engine room hatch manually? 3500 Open - Best Team - 05-02-2021
The starboard hatch lifter has stopped operating, and port lifter can't handle the job alone. The hatch must weigh several hundred pounds. Any tricks to getting it open manually?

A electrician was cleaning up the wiring on the boat, and all of a sudden the hatch lifter started working again. Sorry I can't give you the root cause, but I am very glad to have it working again!

This is a review of older Tiara 3600 Open's, but it does provide some insight into how to get a engine hatch open when the mechanicals fail.
