Prop Sizes - rbutler1178 - 05-17-2021
Hello,
I just purchased an older Tiara 3100 (1981) with 454 crusaders. The engines were replaced in 2003. The boat is sound mechanically and runs good. The problem is I am only able to get approx 3300 rpms and a top speed of 24.5 mph. Is this correct? I am wondering if the prvios owner changed the porps out. I would like to know the original size props. Anyone have an idea?

WOT should be in the 4400 rpm range, and I would think low 30's in mph.
If you contact Tiara Customer Support, they should be able to provide the prop size the boat left the factory with.

My 1988 33' has 18 x 21 with the 350 HP 454 Crusaders. At 3200 I'm running about 26 MPH half tank and 2 guys.

I believe that they came with the 19"x 20" nibrals,and WOT is 4200-4400 RPM depending on load
