1986 Circuit Breakers - Hooper - 05-30-2021 Hi Everyone, New Tiara owner here, just purchased a '86 36 Open w/ CAT 3126 Mechanicals. I live on Cape Cod and I'm definitely looking forward to getting to know my new girl. Had a 33' Bertram SF for 24 years and now this is something completely different, but it's a nice change indeed. The circuit breaker for the stove pops all the time....looks like it has the number 0615 on it. Are they made by Sea Choice (the 13091) ? I think it's a 20 Amp breaker. Looking forward to future chatting, thanks in advance ! Take Care, Rick 1986 Circuit Breakers - Misdirection - 05-30-2021 I also have an '86 36 Open. My new dock neighbor has an '89 36 Convertible. Both of us have gassers. I just left the boat for the weekend, but will check that breaker when I'm up next weekend. I do have all the original documentation for my boat if you ever need anything. But the electrical diagrams arent that great from back then. If I can't find the exact match then I'll just go for functionality. Another question for you: Does your shore power receptacles take a 50A type socket ? It's 120V and plugs into a 30 Amp Lighthouse on the dock, but the receptacle on the boat is 50 Amp style with only one of the hot lines connected. If those receptacles are thru bolted, it's going to be a bitch to change them over ! 1986 Circuit Breakers - Misdirection - 05-31-2021 My boat had 240v 50 amp service initially. Previous owner had it rewired to a 50 amp 120v at the breaker panel and has a 50 to 30 amp converter at the shore power connection. I've not had any issues living on 30 amps. Couldn't really get a good picture of anything meaningful with out removing it. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk |
