2001 3500 Open no fuel to port engine??? - wow - 08-31-2021 The port engine suddenly just quit. (No, I didn't run out of fuel).Fuel filters have been changed recently, fuel solenoid valve was replaced, and the fuses are good. Thinking it may be the relays??? Does anyone have experience testing these? Please advise! RE: 2001 3500 Open no fuel to port engine??? - MC1600 - 08-31-2021 It might help if you could provide additional detail. Type of engine? Recent work done? Were you at hull or planing speed? Any anomalies with engine temp, oil pressure, volts? Fuel issue was finally determined to be a cracked fuel pickup tube located at the top of the 3/8" aluminum tube just where the NPT threads start! We had this in our hand and couldn't find any issues until it snapped in half in our hand! We were pretty surprised to find a sturdy aluminum tube just snap! We replaced the tube and haven't had any issues in a season! RE: 2001 3500 Open no fuel to port engine??? - Joeboch348 - 05-30-2024 I’m having same issue. Where is it located? RE: 2001 3500 Open no fuel to port engine??? - RMS - 05-31-2024 Joe, Typically a fuel pickup is located on the top of each fuel tank. Look for a fitting with a fuel hose connected. Bob |
